ANDREA RUSSO

Growing up to working parents, Chef Andrea’s first inspiration in the kitchen was his grandmother as she cooked for him and the family every day and it was just a matter of time before Chef Andrea joined his father at the butcher shop, where he learnt all about the various meats and meat cuts.His passion to learn more about this industry saw him enrolling into a culinary school. He studied and continued working as a Pastry Chef to learn more about baking. In 2014, Chef Andrea’s scored his first major assignment at the age of 22 where he was part of the pre-opening team for an Italian restaurant and pizzeria at Maxx Royal Kemer Resort in Turkey. To explore further, in 2015 he moved to the Caribbean islands – St. Lucia as a Sous Chef at Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort to oversee their Italian restaurant. Opportunity knocked on his door once again in 2016 and this time it was to arrive in Dubai to work for Per Te restaurants. Chef Andrea is now at Vivaldi by Alfredo Russo.
