TEN EDITIONS OF THE ITALIAN CUISINE AND WINES WORLD SUMMIT– THE ROADSHOW IN HONG KONG, BEIJING, SHANGHAI AND DUBAI.

The Italian Cuisine and Wines World Summit, the longest and most prestigious event dedicated to the promotion of the cuisine, wines and the “Made in Italy” agro-food industry, is celebrating the final stage of its tenth anniversary edition roadshow in Dubai.

The Gala Dinner at the Armani Hotel will be “autographed” by 40 chefs, including 20 Michelin stars from Italy, led by Heinz Beck (La Pergola, Warldorf Astoria Rome ***). Further to the occasion will be the presentation of Italian Cooking for the Global Village(270 pages, The i Factor), an exceptional collection of 192 recipes, contributed by each chef attending the Summit as a guest or host over the past 10 years.

The numbers of these ten editions of the Summit are impressive, involving over 250 chefs and 120 restaurants and hotels in Hong Kong, Dubai, Beijing and Shanghai, 200 sponsors and partners, including wineries throughout the peninsula, and collaboration with important exhibitions and fairs such as Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits, Dubai Specialty Food and Shanghai FHC.

“The Summit, thanks also to its continuity, is perhaps the only international food and wine event focused on educating consumers, professional or private, as regards catering and Italian products outside of Italy “, says Rosario Scarpato, creator and director. The final stop in Dubai (November 19-24), is now taking place
after successful shows in Hong Kong, where the event debuted ten years ago, Beijing and Shanghai, which were held during the first two weeks of the month. During the Summit roadshow, which kicked off with an impressive Gala Dinner at the Kerry Hotel in Hong Kong, the Italian Wine List Awards were announced in Hong Kong as well as in Beijing, where the first guide to Chinese dishes paired with Italian wines was also presented. In Shanghai the starring chefs of the Summit animated the ICE Food Lab at the FHC Fair with a Master Class and participated in the spectacular Gala at the Park Hyatt Hotel, dedicated to Italian fashion and cuisine and promoted in collaboration with Florentia Village, the Italian international fashion network in China. The Summit roadshow was also the perfect occasion for the preview launch of the “Melius”network of the world’s best Italian restaurants.
